Billboard just named Carly Rae Jepsen as their Rising Star of 2012!
It's a huge honor for the singer. Last year's winner wasNicki Minaj, and Lady Gaga has also won it.
Carly will receive the award at the Women in Music event on November 30th. Another big honoree of the night is Katy Perry, who Billboard picked as their Woman of the Year.
Congratulations to Carly! We'll probably be hearing much more about her in the future.
